My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Jingle Jangle is an awesome movie from the beginning to the end. I loved every minute of this ensemble of stars. Their CGI work is amazing. I liked how it is a steampunk world that made it very interesting and entertaining.
The main characters happen to be the Jangle family and the bad guy…guys?
Jeronicus
Jeronicus Jangle is a toymaker trying to figure out a way to live without being known as a toymaker anymore. He is a great character, and I love how he went from this joyous character to hitting rock bottom to returning to the guy he once was when he was young. He has a great character developmental arch throughout this movie.
The Bad Boys
Gustafson is just trying to prove that he is a brilliant toymaker like Jeronicus, but no one really thinks he is. He is someone that needed help but doesn’t like being brushed off. Gustafson is hard to talk about without spoiling the movie. Just watch it.
Don Juan Diego is an egomaniac crazy toy. He is part of the bad guy group. Don Juan gets funnier, and his personality is a bit over the top for a toy. I actually couldn’t believe that Ricky Martin voiced him until the credits, and he does such a magnificent job.
Everyone who is part of this film does such a fabulous job, and I loved everything about it. From the costumes to the sets to the stories to the music to the singing to the dancing, and the different ways the story was told.
I highly recommend this movie.
