My Rating:
My Thoughts:
If I Only Had Christmas is a nice Christmas movie with a lot of Wizard of Oz references in it. I loved everything about it from the first moment Candace popped up as Darcy. Candance is always one of my favorite actresses on Hallmark. She always seems to bring the characters she portrays to life so well.
Darcy is a publicist from Kansas City that wants to do something new and show that she is just as good as anyone in the New York office. So she goes to Connecticut to help an educational program pro bono. She is a great character that I loved watching grow from this person trying to do things for other people to a person who does everything. She is brilliant.
Glen is the VP of Communications at AI, and he doesn’t know what to do about Darcy as he is overseeing everything that she is doing. There is more to him than meets the eye, but who knows what that is. He is a great character as well, and I love seeing him transform into a better man. That is something that you can see from the beginning to the end, most of which was influenced by Darcy.
Candace Cameron Bure and Warren Christie did a fabulous job with their on-screen chemistry, and I loved watching them develop that with their characters. The sets were so good. I loved Darcy’s Kansas City home, and the rest of the cast played their parts perfectly.
