Hailey Dean (Kellie Martin), an acutely observant former prosecutor turned therapist, is introduced to her friend Pam’s (Michelle Harrison) brand new boyfriend, and then Pam suddenly vanishes in the midst of the sale of her late parents’ wealthy estate and home. At the same time, Hailey is repeatedly haunted by memories of a past tragic incident, and seeks help to understand why she is reliving the nightmare — so she can finally move forward. Meanwhile, Hailey is not at all convinced when Pam calls from Hawaii to reassure her she is ok –and with time running out—Hailey learns of many other women with sudden inheritances who have gone missing, and she finds herself invested in seeking justice, discovering there is much more to the truth behind Pam’s mysterious disappearance.
Based on Characters from Nancy Grace’s Novels
My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Hailey Dean Mysteries: Deadly Estate is the second Hailey Dean movie. I love Nancy Grace’s cameo appearances in these movies. Those little scenes are the ones I treasure seeing since Nancy always plays a different role from the previous film.
Hailey and Jonas
Hailey and Jonas are a couple in here, and they are super adorable together. They are doing coupley things except for when Hailey goes looking through her friend Pam’s house. Hailey is sucked into a new mystery because she believes that her friend is missing. Jonas wants to help her since that is the type of guy that Jonas is.
Fincher
Fincher is still here, and the guy is eating a bit more than what he did in the first one. He is a great guy and someone that tries to reel in Hailey. These two are pretty fabulous friends. It’s funny when they refer to each other as “work spouse.” Fincher is good at investigating and is there when Hailey needs him.
Danny
Danny is back again and is a homicide detective. He is an impressive cop and is like a brother to Hailey since his brother was Hailey’s fiancee. We learn a bit more about what happened to Danny’s brother, Will. It is sad what happened to Will and Hailey.
Another great movie
This installment is another fantastic movie from the Hailey Dean Mysteries series. I can’t wait for the next one.
