**The amazing new sequel to Netflix's smash-hit film, The Kissing Booth!**
Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they're facing a new challenge. Noah's 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they're officially a long-distance couple - and it's tough. After all, there's only so much texts and calls can satisfy - and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah's getting friendly with someone else, she's devastated.
On top of that, it's hard to ignore new boy Levi. He's gentle, sweet, cute - and definitely interested in Elle.
With her heart on the line, what's a girl to do?
Join Elle, Noah, Lee and all your favourite Kissing Booth characters for another amazing romantic story that's sure to have you swooning.
Going the Distance by Beth Reekles is figuring out how to do a long-distance relationship when you know that the relationship is right for you.
Can Elle and Noah make a long-distance relationship work?
Elle, Noah, Levi, and Amanda
Elle and Noah are happily in love with each other and are going to try doing a long-distance relationship. The problem with long-distance relationships is communication, and they try so hard. I love these two a lot, and I was rooting for them throughout the entire story. Elle is a high school senior trying to figure out her whole college applications while still doing everything else. Like being friends with Lee, Rachel, the others in their friends’ group, and new kid Levi. I still like Elle and how she’s trying to do everything right and be there for Noah.
Noah is a college freshman trying to juggle everything a college student does. Like going to classes, football practice (as he is a football player), having friends, and going to parties. Noah is a bit bad on the whole communication thing, but he is trying so hard for Elle even though he is friends with Amanda.
Levi is a new kid to Elle and Lee’s school as a senior. There is a lot to Levi that I can’t say since it’s all spoilers. Amanda is a college freshman as well and knows Noah through the school. I can’t say much because, again, spoilers. I like both of them, and I felt terrible about how they came to be.
Lee and Rachel
Lee and Rachel are still together and super adorable, along with being happily in love. Lee turns a bit mean in this segment of the series, and I didn’t like him until he got his act together. Rachel and Elle became friends, and they both aren’t jealous of each other anymore because Lee keeps splitting his time between them.
Five Stars
Going the Distance by Beth Reekles is a great book, especially since it took seven years for the author to finish it. Ms. Reekles is a great writer, and it shows that with this book. She nailed the story, despite not touching the characters for seven years. Ms. Reekles keeps faithful to how she first wrote them. I am giving Going the Distance by Beth Reekles five stars and a recommendation to anyone who likes to read young adult romances.
