My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Fashionably Yours is set in Seattle and takes place in a time frame of where our female lead she quits her job to her moving day. That was in two weeks. Lauren’s boss’s cousin is a mover, and he made a deal with her that had her do things out of her comfort zone to find places that she loved about Seattle and that he will move her free.
Lauren
Kat Graham plays Lauren, and she does a fantastic job of bringing this character to life. I have to say I wish I were organized like Lauren, but I think I am doing okay. Lauren wants to be a writer like her grandmother, but instead, she is stuck working in a closet full of everything that one will need for a photoshoot. She uses a bullet journal as well, which is somewhat a new thing that a lot of people are doing now. Well, have been for a while. Lauren is an organized woman, and she knows how to do it with almost anything that she sees.
Rob
Kendrick Sampson, as Rob does a marvelous job. Rob is an ex-baseball player that could have gone pro if he didn’t hurt his shoulder. Instead, he now owns a moving company and coaches kids’ baseball. He is another fantastic character, and he opens up Lauren’s way of looking at things. Well and exploring more of Seattle than she did the whole time she has been there. I like a lot of things about him, especially that he got Lauren to try new things instead of doing the same thing over and over again.
Kendrick and Kat have some good chemistry going on for them, and I have to say that kind of literally saves the movie. The acting in the movie was awesome as well. I thought the storyline wasn’t that realistic. Their chemistry was right there when he finished off her lucky cookie before her meeting. I like these two together, and I can’t wait to see what else Hallmark has in store for these two actors and if they will be back together again soon.

Thank you for stopping by,
Great review, Karen! I recently watched this film too and completely agree with your thoughts about the chemistry the lead couple had. I’ve been watching a few other similar hallmark films such as ‘a brush with love’ (2019) and ‘designed with love’ (2021) and I would recommend both. I came across your blog today, and it’s wonderful! 🙂 xx
