My Thoughts:

Christmas on the Range is a wonderful movie about two ranching families trying to coexist next to each other. The McCree and Riley’s have been neighbors for years even though only one McCree isn’t happy with the Riley family. There is a bit of a Hatfields and McCoys going on, but no one the reason is lost on the current generation. Kendall Riley and Clint McCree are the main characters, and they are pretty cute together.

Erin Cahill plays Kendall Riley is the only child and the last of the Rileys. She wants to keep the ranch while doing things her own way. Kendall is a great character who doesn’t back down from a challenge and wants to do well with her family’s land by making it certified organic. Kendall is an excellent character that I liked her a lot.

Nicholas Gonzalez portrays Clint McCree is the only child of his parents and is a vet. His occupation is something that his own dad doesn’t want Clint to be doing with his life. He doesn’t want anything to do with his dad and still doesn’t. Clint helps out a lot at Kendall’s ranch.

Kendall and Clint are charming together, and I’m happy with how their story plays out. I love how these two get together and how they work well together to save her ranch.

A Martinez plays Brick McCree. Brick is the bad guy in this story, but don’t count out the power of Christmas and family to bring this ole’ coot around. Lindsay Wagner plays Lillian McCree, Brick’s ex-wife, and Clint’s mom. Lillian is a strong character, and she doesn’t back down from Brick. The McCree’s are a complicated bunch as families can be.

I loved this movie. The sets are great, and the two ranches are different and both beautiful. The town square is also adorable with the Christmas lights and townspeople. If you haven’t seen this movie, you should check it out.
