My Rating:
My Thoughts:
Our introduction to the Aurora Teagarden series is through this movie, and I loved it. We meet a lot of characters. Aurora’s love interest in this film in the form of a pastor. Their chemistry was okay.
Aurora inherits a house in it that has a delightful mystery rolled with it. I like her murder board in this one as it’s pretty ingenious and different from the other ones that she does. Aurora or Roe is a librarian that likes to focus on mysteries. She seems to read fiction, but mostly, it is an actual crime murder that she reads and figures out. Then shares her findings with her True Murders club. Roe did date a detective, but he’s married now to the homicide detective. She is an excellent character, and I love how Candance Cameron Bure portrays her.
Aurora’s mom Aida Teagarden. Aida is a realtor, who hates that her daughter is interested in these ghoulish murders. They picked a great mom and daughter duo with her and Marilu Henner.
The storyline is nice with subplots. However, I didn’t figure out who killed the skeleton guy. At least, not until after Roe did and I was still in shock. Though I would love to have Roe’s house in this one even with the skeleton head found in it, I do get that she didn’t want to live across from her former boyfriend and his family.
I am a huge Candance Cameron Bure fan and love her in this role. So, if you haven’t watched this series, I highly recommend it.
