My Thoughts:
A Merry Christmas Match is a miraculous movie from Hallmark. I loved this movie from the beginning to the end, as the story is fresh and different from some of the other Hallmark movies that we have seen.
Ashley Newbrough plays Corey as our main female character. She is still living in the same small town that she was born instead of following her dreams. Ashley was supposed to go to LA with her best friend, Lindsey Gort, who plays Jillian. She as a producer and Jillian being an actress. Corey is running her dad’s antique shop, along with producing plays and musicals at the local theater. Ashley loves her life even though it’s not really what she wanted, and she figures out a lot about what she wants to do more in this movie.
Kyle Dean Massey plays Ryder as our main male character who lives in LA and is working at his family’s multimillion company. He loves to collect antiques and has fallen for Corey in the short that they have known each other. Ryder’s friend is Davey, who is played by John DeLuca is dating Jillian, that’s how they met.
Ms. Newbrough and Mr. Massey’s chemistry is very entertaining to watch throughout the movie, and I enjoyed watching them. I loved everything that was happening throughout this movie. The way the two of them were able to come up with what they needed to do was sweet.
