My Thoughts:
The third installment in this amazing book turned to movie franchise is a great one. I didn’t get who the killer was right away since I fell for all the red herrings. Until it was revealed, then I was like, oh, that’s so true.
Jesse Metcalfe is back as Jeff Jackson, and he does a great job of portraying this character. Based on what I’ve seen from the movies as this reviewer hasn’t read the books. Mr. Metcalfe has that look about him that seems to say, “Hey, I’m a retired cop.” When he’s portraying Jeff Jackson, I think that sometime soon, they will address who put that bullet in his back.
Sarah Lind, as Zee Madieras, does a fantastic job. I am getting used to her character, and I like the chemistry between her and Jesse. I also like how she’s both a doctor and a medical examiner for the police force, which is a great way for Jeff to get involved.
Sarah Lind and Jesse Metcalfe have grown on me as a potential couple in the movies, and I love their chemistry.
The sets once again are superb, and the movie kept me interested as I tried to figure out who did it. I don’t even think my parents figured it out. Well, maybe my dad, but he didn’t want to ruin it for my mom and me, which is great since I definitely didn’t know who did it.
I completely recommend this movie; it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite mysteries. OK, I know I pretty much like them all, but this one has it all, story, actors, chemistry, and the sets are great.
