My Rating:
My Thoughts:
A Christmas Duet is a fabulously written movie with two singers that were back to singing together again after a few years of not performing together. It also has a nice storyline with it as well.
Chaley Rose, as Averie Davis, is a wonderful actress who has a nice singing voice. I actually did love her character as she seemed so fresh. Averie co-owns the Blue Spruce Inn with her chef, and I think that’s pretty cute. I also like Averie’s character because despite biting off more than she can chew, Averie has done a great job of keeping everything afloat while her co-owner should be resting. Chaley Rose has done a great job bringing Averie to life.
Rome Flynn plays Jesse Collins. Rome is someone that I have watched on television before as he was in How to Get Away With Murder. Jesse is a singer who might be trying too hard to become a success when he really doesn’t have it in him anymore. Well, until he is staying at Averie’s Inn and realizes that maybe that life isn’t for him anymore. These two characters are super cute together, and I liked the movie.
Chaley and Rome have great chemistry together, and I loved watching their relationship blossom again on the screen. The sets for this movie were great. I loved the Inn and the cottages that she had for some guests.
