This cocoa is heaven in a cup with a combination of sweet, minty, and chocolate. It is the perfect combination for reading the Love on the Lifts by Rachel Hawthorne, while the snow is falling outside my window.
Winter Break Super-Secret Perfect Cocoa Recipe
This recipe is the main character, Kate Kennedy’s favorite recipe. Kate makes this hot cocoa for herself and her friends while hanging out at her aunt’s book shop and a hot chocolate bar in Colorado. It is super easy to make as long as you have the ingredients around. All I had to pick up was the milk as we drink skim milk at our house.
Pour it in the cup and add the peppermint stick. I added a giant marshmallow, just because I could.
