A missing person + a do-gooder father + a new friend = An adventure in which Naomi finds more than a murderer.
Naomi is off to Australia with her father in her latest vacation. She expects a drama-free trip to Oz with her dependable father. That all ends at check-in when they encounter a young woman searching for her boyfriend. Fellow traveler Daniel drags them into a search for the missing man in the Red Centre. In between sunset tours, daytime hikes, and Vegemite tastings, Naomi wanders ever closer to danger.

Undone in Uluru by A. R. Kennedy is a mystery filled with wonder and beautiful sights.

What happened to Mack? Why does Daniel care so much?

Naomi is traveling this time to Australia with her father, Richie, who is paying for the trip. Richie also has a few work-related meetings that he has to attend. Naomi thought that this vacation would be so relaxing as she and her father have a good relationship. However, Naomi, her father, and Daniel find Mack’s body in the outback. Things start to turn, and Naomi is focused on what happened to Mack.

Daniel is a new character in the series. Daniel is a lot like Richie, as he is well prepared and a good guy. Naomi seems to like him, and he is American, so will he show up in the next book? Only Ms. Kennedy knows.

Although Deidre and Charlotte aren’t on the trip, yet they are quite involved in the story. Charlotte checks in with Naomi and their dad throughout the journey. However, so does Deidre. They both meet Daniel via video calls, and it looks like they approve of him as dating material.

The Undone in Uluru CRThe Mystery

Mack and Nora are Americans on vacation. They were on the same flight as Daniel. Mack was missing for a couple of days before his body is found miles away from the resort. As Naomi, with Daniel’s assistance, looks for what happened to the young man, things don’t lead anywhere. Then Daniel and Naomi stumble upon the truth.

Five Stars

Ms. Kennedy writes a great mystery. Naomi and her family are so realistic. However, I think the parts about the places that Naomi travels are some of the best features. There is this perfect mix that gives you enough to imagine it but not so much that it overwhelms the mystery. My rating for Undone in Uluru by A. R. Kennedy is five stars. I recommend this series to all cozy mystery readers out there.

About A.R. Kennedy

A.R. Kennedy

A. R. Kennedy lives in Long Beach, New York, with her two pups. She works hard to put food on the floor for them. As her favorite T-shirt says, ‘I work so my dog can have a better life’. She’s an avid traveler. But don’t worry. While she’s away, her parents dote on their grand-puppies even more than she does. Her writing is a combination of her love of travel, animals, and the journey we all take to find ourselves.
