‘TIS THE SEASON: A ONE TREE HILL CAST REUNION

Cast in attendance: Danneel Ackles, Hilarie Burton, Tyler Hilton, Antwon Tanner, Stephen Colletti, Bevin Prince, and Paul Johansson. Robert Buckley attended via video.
It’s been fifteen years since One Tree Hill started on the WB and 188 episodes later we were all in awe and sad to see the series end.
This reunion show was pretty sweet. We had a mix of the cast. The stars chatted about where they are now, a few of them are in different Lifetime Christmas movies this year.
Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime has three movies with OTH alumni.
Christmas Contract with Danneel Ackles, Robert Buckley, Hilarie Burton, Tyler Hilton, and Antwon Tanner.
Poinsettias for Christmas with Bethany Joy Lenz (who was not in attendance).
Hometown Christmas with Stephen Colletti.
They played a few games to see who knew the most about OTH. Hilarie Burton won most, of course.
The Games Played
- OTH Trivia ~ Hilarie won a coveted Dan Scott heart.
- I swear on Santa that I ________________. If one of them fell into that category, then they had to drink a shot of eggnog.
- Gift Wrapped Guest Stars. There were six guest stars that the cast had to remember.
Paul Johansson read The Night Before Christmas in One Tree Hill. It was funny in a terrible way.
The audience was able to ask a few questions.
Tyler Hilton sang “Don’t Feel Like Christmas” then the rest joined him for Jingle Bells.

My thoughts:
I enjoyed watching the cast as themselves. I will always see them as the characters they played on One Tree Hill, but it is nice to see that the real people get along better than their characters did. One Tree Hill, for me, was my first drama show to have watched and I was happy to see this cute little reunion show.
This reunion was fabulous and crazy very similar to the One Tree Hill show. I am glad that actors have moved on and I like seeing them in other shows and movies. It’s also nice that they have families now but remain friends.
