Playing with guys has only ever been a game.

Now Katie has to play the game for real.

When Katie Okiishi goes undercover at an elite eSports tournament overflowing with guys—nerdy, hot, and everywhere in between—it’s like her dream has finally come true. But with national security secrets hanging in the balance, Katie must sift through the sea of eager players to catch the would-be thief.

How will this game end? Will Katie find a way to ignore the distraction of so many guys? Will the tournament end before she can catch the traitor? Will she ever meet a man who makes her want to stop playing the field?

If you enjoy kick-butt spy-girls and in-game action, you’ll love Spies Never Play. This stand-alone novel is the fourth book in the Banana Girls series. As always, the romance is sweet, and the suspense is cozy.

Spies Never Play by M. Taylor Christensen is an exciting take on espionage at an e-game tournament.

Will Katie find the traitor, help her team win the tournament, and get the guy?

Katie Okiishi

Katie is chosen as the operative for this mission. She is the flirtiest of the banana girls, and this mission puts her smack in the middle of guys, guys, and more guys. Also, Katie is a gamer, but she doesn’t have the skills needed to be on one of the top eSports teams.

I think Katie is fantastic. She has used her beauty and petite figure to get through life. Katie steps up and learns a lot about herself during this installment. I loved how the one guy she likes doesn’t like her flirty games.Spies Never Play CR

The Assignment

One Banana Girl joins an eSports game to find and figure out how to stop the sale of classified military intelligence at a national eSports tournament. The problem is no one knows who the buyer is or where the buy is taking place. So, even though Katie is a gamer, she isn’t a top gamer. So, she must split her time between practicing her newest craft and finding a traitor. Can this spy girl complete the mission?

Five Stars

I love these spy mysteries. Mr. Christensen has a way of spinning a tale of espionage while not allowing the characters to betray their core principles. In fact, each character seems to learn from the foray. My rating for Spies Never Play by M. Taylor Christensen is five stars. If you are looking for a fun mystery, cool spy gadgets, and a cast of characters with integrity, I highly recommend Spies Never Play or any of the Banana Girls Series.

About M Taylor Christensen

M Taylor Christensen

Myles Christensen writes light thriller/suspense with sweet romance under the pen name M. Taylor Christensen.
He loves to write exciting adventures because he loves to read exciting adventures. The hopeless romantic in him can’t resist adding those fun moments of kissing tension (sorry, readers). While writing, he listens to music that matches—and sometimes inspires—the storyline.
His mild-mannered alter ego is a product development engineer, university professor, and game inventor. He lives in Utah with his wife and children.
