Hannah’s new husband is going to drive her absolutely crazy.

Never having been married before, Hannah McCarthy doesn’t know if what she’s feeling is normal. Even though she has to pretend to be madly in love with her fake husband, she really just wants to wring his neck. But her annoyance and frustration would all be worth it if it means putting a stop to the illegal international adoptions they’ve discovered.

Can Hannah and her fellow agent set aside their differences and work together to track down the mastermind of the adoption operation? And, perhaps more importantly, is Hannah willing to let her incredibly condescending yet aggravatingly adorable pretend-husband actually get his way?

If you enjoy kick-butt spy-girls and enemies-to-lovers, you’ll love Spies Never Lose. This stand-alone novel is the third book in the Banana Girls series. As always, the romance is sweet and the suspense is cozy.

Spies Never Lose by M. Taylor Christensen is another fast-moving story with lots of spy gadgets and a bit of romance.

Will Hannah figure out how to work with Jason before they blow the mission?

Hannah McCarthy

Hannah is a college senior and one of our original banana girls. She is a tall, intelligent blonde beauty and a whiz with drones. Although, Hannah has some unresolved issues that she needs to deal with immediately. Otherwise, she may blow the mission.

I really like Hannah, she isn’t my favorite banana girl, but I admire her. Hannah has some things from her past that directly affect her personality. Throughout this story, she figures this out and starts to make changes to confront the issues. I like her with Jason. The two of them see each other. Well, once they quit trying to one-up the other. Another banana girl succumbs to Rule Number 1.Spies Never Lose CR

Jason Briggs

Jason is a special agent with Homeland Security. He comes to the banana girls looking for an agent to stand in as his wife for the mission that he is working on. Sparks fly immediately between Jason and Hannah, but they are too stubborn to realize it. Jason is a bit of a nerd, handsome but quiet. He is quick on his feet, great with children, and kind-hearted.

I like Jason, but there were times when I wanted him to tell Hannah to knock it off and act like the professional that she is. But he is way too nice to do that.

Four Stars

My rating for Spies Never Lose by M. Taylor Christensen is four stars. I enjoyed the story, but it didn’t resonate with me like the previous stories. Hannah and Jason are a good couple, but Hannah clearly has some issues to work through in the future. I hope she finds a way to continue being an agent after her college graduation.

I am looking forward to the next installment coming later this year. I do recommend this book to everyone that like a bit of romance with their espionage.

About M Taylor Christensen

M Taylor Christensen

Myles Christensen writes light thriller/suspense with sweet romance under the pen name M. Taylor Christensen.
He loves to write exciting adventures because he loves to read exciting adventures. The hopeless romantic in him can’t resist adding those fun moments of kissing tension (sorry, readers). While writing, he listens to music that matches—and sometimes inspires—the storyline.
His mild-mannered alter ego is a product development engineer, university professor, and game inventor. He lives in Utah with his wife and children.
