Plot Summary:

TV crime reporter Ruby Herring starts receiving anonymous tips when a cold case — the unsolved murder of a local psychic – is reopened, and teams up with Seattle PD detective Jake Killian to find the killer.

We are back with a new Ruby Herring Mysteries. They are getting better with each new installment. Ruby’s first case, as the new crime reporter, was something that she wanted to solve for her dad. It’s a great movie and different than the others. We get some more background information on Ruby this time.

I love being able to see their back story and how whatever happened in the past shaped the characters into who they are now. It’s fantastic to see that and how past relationships should stay in the past. The subtle hints between Jake and Ruby are great to see. I love how other characters see that as well.

The mystery is one that I had a great time trying to solve. I totally fell for the red herrings all the way through until the puzzle pieces started to fall. Another thing that I love about this movie is there sets. The setting is fabulous. Ruby and Jake still have that chemistry that is still sizzling under the surface.
