Darcy (Chabert) has always worked hard to prove herself and be successful on her own terms, even choosing to start her own company, rather than work with her father.
Returning to her hometown for Christmas, Darcy reconnects with an old rival, restaurant owner Luke (Penny), and they are forced to plan a charity event together.
As Darcy spends time with her family and Luke, she starts to realize what matters most in life and sets out to mend her relationship with her father, and possibly fall in love.
Based on the book of the same title by Melissa de la Cruz.

My Thoughts:
This movie is one of the better Pride and Prejudice spins that I have watched. The story is fabulous, with well developed, witty, flawed characters that make you feel like you are part of the story.
Lacey Chabert and Brendan Penny are fabulous together, utterly believable as a couple. They are charming together. I have always loved Lacey and Brendan is fabulous in Chesapeake Shores.
Darcy Fitzwilliam is a fantastic character. She is a nice person, and I like the way that she tries to help everyone out. Some of the people in her life are nice, and some are not. However, she figures it out in the end.
Luke Bennett is an up and coming Restaraunt owner. He is the opposite of Darcy, and that is what makes them work so well together.
I loved the way that Darcy and Luke found all new people to handle the last minute party needs. Christmas Tree Designer sounds crazy to me, but hey it works.
Pride Prejudice and Mistletoe was brilliant. I would so watch it again.

There are so many new Christmas Movies out on the small screen, so whether you are streaming on Netflix or watching on one of the networks like Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas, Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime, and ION Televisions’ Holiday Movies there should be something for you.
