For the Love of Dinosaurs by Tomi Tabb For the Love of Dinosaurs by Tomi Tabb

Royals of Isola Nostrum #2

Publication Date: June 13, 2023

Genre: Sweet Royal Romance

Goodreads | BookBub | Amazon

Can a royally fake engagement really come with no strings attached?

Nora is a Crown Princess whose last priority is getting married. She’d much rather spend her time with Mr. Darcy-like fictional men.

Lucas is an Earl and a future Duke. Now that he’s back in the UK after spending the last year in Argentina, his father expects him to start learning the duties and responsibilities that come with his title. Except Lucas has other ideas and the only person who he trusts to help him is Nora.

They’ve been friends since their university days and have both grown up facing the weight of expectations that come with having a royal title.

Nora knows better than anyone just how much Lucas loves dinosaurs. When he begins to question his future career plans, she steps in with an offer she knows will solve his problem with the Duke—a fake engagement.

Yet, as Nora and Lucas come to learn, living a lie is anything but easy, especially when there might be more to their friendship than either of them might have thought.

Will the search for prehistoric fossils lead to a discovery of new love?

This is a royal romance for sweet and clean romance readers. Kissing only and no cursing. It is the second in the Royals of Isola Nostrum series, but can be read as a stand alone novel.

The opening class is just wrapping up when suddenly Tranquil disappears before Jessamine’s eyes. Next, the lights of the art center flicker out and leave the crowd in complete darkness as a scream pierces the air. Determined to save her now teetering reputation, Jessamine sets out to search for answers and the missing painting on her own. She has invested everything into her art center and is too anxious to step back and do nothing. Along the way, she teams up with a handsome paramedic who seems to have his own reasons for wanting justice for Victor’s tragedy.

The Hunt for the Hollower by Callie C. MillerThe Hunt for the Hollower by Callie C. Miller

Publication Date: June 13, 2023

Genre: Middle Grade Fantasy

Goodreads | Bookhype | BookBub | Amazon | BAM

In this riff on Arthurian legend, a wizardess who is still mastering her powers goes on an epic quest to save her brother from an evil wizard in this middle grade magical adventure perfect for fans of Adam Gidwitz and Amanda Foody!

The great wizard Merlyn prophesized that his seventh descendant would do wonderful, miraculous things—baffling everyone when his great-great-many-times-great grandchild turns out to be twins. Soon enough, however, it becomes clear which sibling is the Septimum Genus: Percy is a natural with magic. Merlynda (to put it simply) is not.

But Merlynda doesn’t mind. Percy has always been by her side to cheer her up (and clean up) after her magical bungles—until the twins attempt a forbidden spell to help her control her magic, and Percy vanishes through a portal and straight into the clutches of the magic-stealing, mythical Hollower.

Aided by her best friend (who longs to be a knight), a wandering musician (who is fleeing from his past), and her brand-new, fierce familiar (who yearns for a taste of funnel cake), Merlynda sets off on a quest to rescue her brother. But to defeat this ancient evil, she must discover and embrace her true powers—or else lose her brother for good.

The dead man is the husband of one of the three sisters who own the winery and guest cottages where Anastasia and Zack are vacationing.

When the local sheriff sets his sights on the widow as the prime suspect, her sisters close ranks around her. The three siblings are true-crime junkies, and thanks to a podcaster who has produced an unauthorized series about her, Anastasia’s reputation for solving murders has preceded her to the bucolic hamlet. The sisters plead for her help in finding the real killer. As Anastasia learns more about the women and their business, a host of suspects emerge, including several relatives, a relentless land developer, and even the sisters themselves.

Meanwhile, Anastasia becomes obsessed with discovering the podcaster’s identity. Along with knowing about Anastasia’s life as a reluctant amateur sleuth, the podcaster has divulged details of Anastasia’s personal life. Someone has betrayed Anastasia’s trust, and she’s out to discover the identity of the culprit.
