My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

Nature of Love is a movie that I liked but a few parts that I didn’t. The love interests in the movie, Emilie Ullerup as Katie and Christopher Russell as Will, were great together. I loved that even though Emilie was pregnant when this movie was filmed, it was during a trimester where they didn’t have to try to hide it.

The Characters

Emilie Ullerup did a fantastic job of playing a city girl that wants to be a writer and has decided to go for it by doing a piece on how a city girl tries her hand at glamping in the wilderness. It was a great tagline, and I would read that article. Katie is a fabulous character, and she made some fast friends and did a great job on kind of hiding the whole reason with why she was there at the glamp ground. I would so totally try my hand at glamping as it sounds fun. Katie did a lot of things in the short time that she was there, and I felt proud of her for facing her fears.

Christopher Russell did another excellent job of playing a wilderness guide that had a degree in conservationist. He is so into animals and protecting the ones that are on the land while preserving what makes the glamp ground perfect. Will also did some character development along with Katie, and it was so cute to see.

The Chemistry

Emilie Ullerup and Christopher Russell both have such great chemistry together. You can see it with all of their interactions. I love to see the connection between the actors in these types of movies.

The Wildlife

The parts that I didn’t like were the ones where they showed wildlife. It is obvious that the scenes where shot someplace else in a different location than when they were trying to show it in the film. However, they get a ‘B’ for effort.
