My Rating:

four-stars

My Thoughts:

It’s Christmas time in Hannah’s town. That wonderful time of the year where we get and decorate a Christmas tree, make Christmas cookies, and oh solve a murder? Okay maybe only with Hannah Swenson would you have to solve a murder mystery while trying to be in the holiday spirit. The murder victim was a real douche, though, and some people are grateful that he is gone. But could they have killed him?

Alison Sweeney returns to do this movie, and I have to say that she does an excellent job. Hannah comes to life with Alison playing her. Ms. Sweeney always does a remarkable job in the roles that she is cast in to play. I love how every time she bakes it either connects back to the mystery or with the story that they are telling. Hannah just happens upon trouble no matter what.

Cameron Mathison is back as Mike, and he also did a fantastic job with this role. Mike cares for Hannah, and you can see that in the way that they interact. He is always trying to keep her out of trouble. The chemistry between Hannah and Mike is really there, and I’m able to see it well with Alison and Cameron.

The bickering between the two is another great thing, especially when the bickering helps them to solve the mystery.
