Plot Summary:
When Seattle interior designer Lily Summers returns to her hometown to help her Aunt Maggie run her marina-side bed and breakfast, she meets Marcus, the handsome seaplane pilot whose life’s work delivering rescue dogs helps Lily discover that home is where the heart is.

Love on Harbor Island is a sweet story where Lily finds her happiness, love for interior design, and maybe a new love.
Lily Summers is the niece of the Harbor Island Inn owner who has let the inn go a bit. She is also very into technology and, of course, interior designing. Lily ends up helping her aunt get the inn ready to sell. She is a compelling character that is pretty straightforward and what you would expect from Hallmark.
Marcus is living in the garden suite of Aunt Maggie’s inn. He ends up popping everywhere that Lily ends up at, which is pretty funny. Marcus is a great love interest for her. He isn’t into technology and would rather have face-to-face conversations. The man has a flip phone. He runs a dog adoption center, which is incredible, and I like the concept of that.
These two do have the chemistry, and it is great to see that unfold on the screen. I love how they are able to help each other with a lot of different things.
The one thing that I have to say is that this movie is obviously made for Fall Harvest. Okay, so maybe two things. I felt like the interior sets could have been better.
