LAUGH OUT LOUD NOW!

Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After is a collection filled with a lot of sweet romances. I read one called Take a Hike by Sophie-Leigh Robbins, and it was super adorable.

Are there sparks between June and Caleb?

June

June is our female love interest. She’s bubbly, quirky, and a bit naive, but that makes June who she is. June is living in LA working on a movie set, and her living arrangements aren’t really a good thing. She loves to cook, bake, and hike since there must be a way to walk off all those sweets that she bakes. June is also pretty gullible about some things that go on in her life, but she is learning from the mistakes that she is making. Learning from those mistakes makes her see them quicker the next time she has to deal with a situation like that again. I would think if I met June on the streets that I would like her and be friends. I like June as a character and that she is a pretty friendly person.

CalebTake a Hike CR

Caleb is our male love interest. He is also working on the movie set just as a personal assistant to one of the actors on set. Caleb is a nice person who is wary of who he lets into his life because of his job, meaning that anyone could use him. He is a decent guy who gives June the benefit of the doubt, especially regarding the funny emails that she sends out to the cast and crew. I think that Caleb has a lot of patience in him, especially with some of his boss’s tasks throughout the book. If I met Caleb on the street, I might have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming especially if he talked to me. I like Caleb as well. He seems like a good character with a good head on his shoulders.

Five Stars

Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After is an anthology collection filled with sweet romances that will have you laughing out loud. Trust me, Take a Hike did that for me. This anthology set is for a great cause, and I love what they are doing for pets for the elderly. I am giving this book 5 stars and recommending the whole collection to anyone that loves a good sweet romance.
