Plot Summary:
On-air weather reporter Leah Waddell is getting weary of her bleak dating life and inability to be taken seriously as a budding meteorologist. At her wit’s end, she decides to stay single and focus on her career for a full year. As soon as Leah makes this commitment, it literally starts pouring rain and men. As Leah deflects multiple romantic offers, she befriends her new neighbor Mark, a handsome dairy farmer who teaches her methods to predict the weather by observing signs in nature.

Love in the Forecast is a stellar movie that had a lot of great elements. I found it funny that they were using Witchita, Kansas for its aerial views, but it’s not Kansas. Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell did a great job. The story was fun and uplifting.
Cindy Busby is our main female character named Leah. She was going to school to become a meteorologist and trying to get into a better position at the news station where she is working. Leah is a great character, and I loved it when she decided to focus on herself, along with what she wanted out of life. That is refreshing as it is different from the other types of romances. What I like about Leah is that she wants to prove herself, and she keeps on waiting for that throughout the whole thing.
Christopher Russell is our main male character named Mark. He is a country guy that is trying to live in the city. I love how these two met and even more how they get into their friendship. Another thing that is great about this movie is that they started off being friends than developing into a romance. Mark is excellent, especially when he teaches her another way to find the weather forecast.
Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell had a great romance going on throughout the whole movie. I loved their chemistry and how it developed. I hope that they are in another movie together.
