The Sleuths
Our main sleuth is Olive, she is a psychologist and she helps run Nonna’s Cold Cream shop, she also has Lizzy, Wonderdog, and Grams. The combination is quite funny, especially Olive’s form of protection and use of the Three Stooges antics as her form of self-defense makes you laugh out loud.
The Mystery
This is one of the cleverish mysteries and I enjoyed following Olive and Lizzy around while they looked for clues and tracked down the murder.
Five Stars
This book is the first book by Ms. Silkstone that I have read. I enjoyed it immensely. Lavender Toes by Barbara Silkstone’s rating is five stars and I recommend it to all mystery fans.
