When widowed mom Megan returns home for Christmas, she and her two sisters Audrey and Bethany are surprised to learn their parents are selling their childhood home, making this their last Christmas together in Vermont. Megan is even more surprised to discover that the buyer is her high school sweetheart, Nash, who plans to use the house as an investment property.

OK, So I know that I have said a couple of other movies were my favorite, but I totally loved this one. It is over-the-top spectacular.
The chemistry between Erin Cahill and Justin Bruening is fantastic. And don’t get me started on their kisses (yet anyway). All of the actors in this film were fabulous. They were all so believable. I could totally see them all as a happy family.
The setting, oh my, that house is gorgeous. I loved all of the snow. Yes, I thought it was appropriate for Vermont in December. Small towns are so unique. The people really connect.
A big family:
Mom and Dad – who are retiring and want to move to Arizona
Megan who is widowed but has a daughter Ivy. She is a Chef in Austin, Texas. Megan and Nash were high school sweethearts. Nash went to college in California, now he is back and doing contractor work.
Bethany, a lawyer, married to George, a college professor.
Audrey is the youngest. She dropped out of college and wants to be a singer. Brandon the boy, next door, likes her.
Since it is their last Christmas in Vermont, they are hitting all of the traditions and experiencing everything.

- Caroling
- Homemade ornaments for the Christmas Tree
- Gingerbread House Competition
- Toys purchased and wrapped to donate
- Going out to a tree farm and cutting their tree down
- Building a snowman on Christmas Eve
- Christmas Eve Carriage Ride
I love all of it. The house is their anchor. Who wouldn’t want to spend your Christmas in Vermont?

One kiss between Audrey and Brandon. Then two smoking hot kisses between Megan and Nash. Smokin’ had to repeat it.
