When Anna Worthington's twin sister gets jilted by her fiancé, Anna steps in with a plan for a girls’ Key West getaway instead of a honeymoon trip. Yet when her twin has her own crisis of commitment and doesn’t board the plane, Anna finds herself on a romantic getaway that she’s forced to navigate alone.

Gunnar Lockhart, whose specialty is island tourism, is the perfect match for helping Anna complete her vacation bucket list, but time together forges a connection more personal than either anticipates. As they make island memories, Anna has to untangle her mixed emotions. Are her feelings toward Gunnar real? Or like her sister’s wedding day, has this connection been doomed from the start?

Island Charm by Audrey Wick is an island whirl romance for these two unsuspecting people.

Will Anna be able to complete her twin sister’s Key West bucket list? How about not falling for Gunnar?

Anna Worthington

Anna Worthington is our female lead. She is only on the island because her twin sister didn’t think Key West was in her best interests. Anna isn’t happy about this arrangement but tries her best to have a relaxing vacation time. Once she finds her sister’s bucket list, Anna’s whole plan for this impromptu vacation takes place for her. Anna decided to do everything on the list and show her sister when she got back. The one thing Anna didn’t expect was Gunnar. Anna did get some things accomplished. Especially considering that Anna needed a reboot on her life, and this was the perfect opportunity for her to do that. I do like Anna, though, and I understood everything she went through. I haven’t experienced it myself, but I understood it through the author’s writing.

Gunnar Lockhart

Island Charm CRGunnar Lockhart is our male lead. He lives on the island, and his job is to help the tourists navigate the island to get to the places they need to go. Gunnar is a laidback kind of guy that has a great head on his shoulders. This is why many people think he’s a great person to manage the tourism booth. He also has a best friend named Jack, an old guy who needs Gunnar’s help a lot. Gunnar tries his hardest to keep Jack and Anna in his life while Anna is on the island. I like Gunnar, especially since he seems like he knows what he wants but gets thrown many hoops.

Five Stars

Island Charm by Audrey Wick is a great summer read that can be read in a couple of hours. I loved the way Ms. Wick described everything that makes the reader feel like they are in Key West with Anna and Gunnar. Ms. Wick has done an amazing job on this book, and I loved reading about these two. I am giving Island Charm by Audrey Wick five stars and recommending it to anyone that loves a sweet beach romance.
