A future worth rescuing, a love worth waiting for, and a dream worth sharingDanger lurks in the court as Stanislav the high chancellor, seizes an opportunity to take the crown and the princess for himself.Caught between duty and freedom, Princess Alexandra has to chose to be free to find a happy ever after or marry Stanislav as he demands and let him take the crown from her. When Prince Christoffer offers a solution by marrying her…wouldn’t that mean another marriage without love? However, if she accepts his proposal, she will sentence him to death.

Her Prince Charming by Anna del C. Dye is a fantastic story of how a princess finds a way to save her kingdom.

Will Princess Alexandra find true love?

Princess Alexandra

Princess Alexandra is one of the main characters of this book. The story is in the third point of view. Princess Alexandra has me rooting for her to try to figure out a way to not give in with Stanislav’s plans. She grows from the first chapter to the end with excellent character development. I don’t want to spoil anything so, just know that she is a character to not give up on; she will make it. Alexandra is not a spoiled princess.

What I like about Princess Alexandra is that she wants to be able to rule her kingdom one day. Yet, she wants her dad’s approval as his only child. Another thing that I like about Alexandra is that she knows she wants love. However, she isn’t sure if she will find that before Stanislav makes her marry him.

Prince Christoffer

Prince Christoffer just happens to be in the same place as Alexandra is when they met on a complete accident. Christoffer and Alexandra have a lot more in common than what they initially thought. They both aren’t given attention by their fathers and losing their mothers relatively young. These two are pretty adorable to read, picture what they look like, and how the scene is going in my head. Christoffer has grown throughout the chapters. He does have a bodyguard, but despite that, he is a regular guy that just wants someone that believes in him. In Alexandra, he finds that.

What I like about him is that despite not knowing who Alexandra is when they first met, he wants to protect her. Another thing that I like is that Christoffer takes things in strides and doesn’t try to stop to ask questions at the time.

Her Prince Charming CRStanislav

Stanislav is the bad guy in this book. He only has one motive, and he sees Alexandra as the way to get it. Stanislav has done things to further his plans throughout the years. He has brought many allies that he has paid for their silences. Another thing that he has done is to make sure that the King would never judge the decisions that Stanislav makes regarding the kingdom. Let’s just say that he has done a lot of bad things before the book’s time frame and even more so during the time frame of the book.

Five Stars

Her Prince Charming by Anna del C. Dye is my first book by this author and what a fabulous book. Ms. Dye has done a marvelous job of figuring out a way to make a medieval book pop with freshness. I was concerned about all the characters and how they would deal with Stanislav. I was rooting for Alexandra and Christoffer from the time that they have met. All the characters in this story are three dimensional, and you can tell from just the beginning. For all of these reasons, I am giving this book five stars and recommending it to anyone that likes historical books with monarchies.
