2018 Giveaways 4th Blogoversary 1

The First Giveaway for the 4th Blogoversay

Michelle M. Pillow has a book coming out this month called Better Haunts & Garden Gnomes. It’s the first book in her new series Happily Everlasting World: (Un)Lucky Valley. This kindle book is the first item in this givingaway.

The second item in the giveaway is a garden gnome that is on strike. I thought this would be cute, it goes along with part of the story, and Aunt Polly, who has a garden gnome village. This garden gnome is to help you to a) start your own garden gnome village or b) to add to your garden gnome village if you already have one.

Here are the reviews for the Happily Everlasting World books:

Dead Man Talking by Jana DeLeon: Book 1

Once Hunted, Twice Shy by Mandy M. Roth: Book 2

Fooled Around and Spelled in Love by Michelle M. Pillow: Book 3

Witchful Thinking by Kristen Painter: Book 4

Total Eclipse of the Hunt by Mandy M. Roth: Book 5

Curses and Cupcakes by Michelle M. Pillow: Book 6

Here is the synopsis and link to Goodreads for Better Haunts and Garden Gnomes:

Welcome to Lucky Valley where nothing is quite what it seems.

Lily Goode wasn’t aware she had an Aunt Polly, let alone an inheritance coming to her in the form of a huge Victorian house in Lucky Valley, Colorado. Life might finally be coming together for her. That is if you don’t count the endless home repairs, dealing with eccentric Aunt Polly who claims they’re both witches, and a handsome home inspector who seems to have it out for her, then, sure, life is grand. Oh and not to mention the strange hallucinations and garden gnomes who are far more than lawn ornaments.

If mysterious construction accidents don’t do her in, then the rebellious gnomes just might. With the help of Aunt Polly, it’s up to Lily to discover who’s sabotaging her new home and trying to drive the Goodes out of Lucky Valley once and for all.

2018 Giveaways 4th Blogoversary 2

The Last Giveaway for the 4th Blogoversay

My second and last giveaway for my Blogoversay is for Louise Cypress. She is a fairly new indie author and she is an excellent author. I am in love with her Puritan Coven Series and I can’t wait to read book 2 and book 3.

The first part of this giveaway will be the three Puritan Coven books as Kindle Editions. This way you can be able to read the books and fall in love with them as much as I did. I love how the three books are based around two main characters for each specific book.

The second part of this giveaway will be getting an author signed paperback. The author, herself, has agreed to do this. The signed paperback will be Bite Me.

The last part of this giveaway will be a $10 Starbucks gift card. I thought this would be nice as the characters in Bite Me go there. Plus what better way to spend an afternoon than sipping a Starbuck’s drink while reading a good book? I don’t really have an answer for that since it is a great afternoon for doing that.

Here is the review for the first book: Book 1

Here is the synopsis and link to Goodreads for Bite Me:

A nerdy high school senior transforms into a vampire vixen who’s unaware that her hunky date for prom is the slayer sent to destroy her.

Morgan Taylor-Jackson can’t wait for high school to end. In six months she leaves for UCLA and says goodbye to La Jolla, California and her parents’ messy divorce. But when Morgan is bitten by a four-year-old boy, she becomes infected with a mysterious condition. Fever, insomnia, and a new bustline are only the beginning; Morgan morphs from nerd to bombshell.

As far as Van Xander is concerned, all vampires are evil, even the ones who reject human sacrifice and call themselves Puritans. When Helsing Incorporated sends Van to La Jolla to investigate the local coven, Morgan is his prime target. Pretending to be interested in her, Van asks Morgan out and puts her through a series of tests to determine her killer nature.

Morgan is thrilled to be dating a hot guy like Van and falls for him hard. As Van strings Morgan along, he grows increasingly guilty. Morgan is kind, compassionate, and a gooey romantic. Just as Van’s mind begins to change, evil forces threaten everything. When prom night arrives, there are only two ways out of the ballroom: death or immortality.

Here is the synopsis and link to Goodreads for Hunt Me:

An all-girls vampire camping trip turns deadly when a sasquatch hunter is accidentally killed.

All Esma Siban wants this summer is to stay out of her stepmother’s way. When her stepsister, Morgan, suggests a road trip to Oregon to visit a friend from high school, Esma jumps on the idea. A camping trip sounds like the perfect way to help Esma recover from breaking up with her boyfriend. But when Esma and Morgan encounter a stalker, Esma’s fangs come out. The death of a Sasquatch hunter wasn’t on their itinerary. A terrified Esma is unsure what to do next, so she texts her ex-boyfriend for help.

Chase Wheeler feels like the biggest fool on the football team. The entire time he was dating Esma, he had no idea she was a vampire. In high school Chase did exactly what Esma told him to. He let Esma plan their dates, pick his wardrobe, and even pack his lunches. Now Chase has a month left before he starts college to forget the girl who froze his heart.

When Chase lands an internship on the popular radio talk show Fred Head, he finds his voice and charts a future that doesn’t involve domineering girlfriends. But all it takes is one text from Esma and Chase runs back to her waiting arms. Chase finds the courage to tell Esma that he’s through with being bossed around right when Esma realizes that she desperately needs Chase’s input. The only way home from this camping trip is to be bitten or smitten.

Here is the synopsis and link to Goodreads for Slay Me:

He’s a vampire bad boy. She’s a slayer’s daughter who’s never been kissed.

Kyle Logan has been a sixteen-year-old bad boy for three years, ever since he became a vampire. After a stint at the rehab center run by the Brothers of Temperance, Kyle has finally kicked his blood addiction. Now, he’s back in high school with one goal in mind: stay clean so that he can grow up and become an animal rights activist.

Cassandra Xander wants two things in tenth grade: a car and the chance to attend a traditional high school. She loved being homeschooled growing up, especially since her family moved every six months for Helsing Incorporated, but now that her mother is founding a slayer training academy in La Jolla, California, Cassandra is excited by the opportunity to attend La Jolla Cove High.

When Kyle witnesses Cassandra give a verbal reckoning to a dog owner who leaves her beagle locked in a sweltering car, Kyle makes his move. He loves that Cassandra is smart, intense, and willing to break rules. But Cassandra has zero experience dating and isn’t sure that a relationship with a hot-tempered vampire is a good place to start–especially when she discovers Kyle’s secret ability. Kyle works hard to master his emotions and make all of Cassandra’s high school dreams come true. Just when their romance brightens both of their lives, Kyle’s past draws him back into darkness. The only way forward for these high school sweethearts is to slay or pay.

Don’t worry though the author has at least one more book in this series planned.
