Will Claire save the spirits, find love and keep her secrets?
Claire Abelard
Claire is our main character, an agent for the Bureau. No, not the F.B.I., but still a secret agency that helps projections or ghosts keep their histories alive. Claire isn’t your typical agent, as she has been born to parents whose families have all been sensitive to projections. So, Claire’s sensitivity to projections is quite higher than some other agents.
I was rooting for Claire from the beginning. She is stubborn, gutsy, and intelligent. Claire has a chip on her shoulder when it comes to her chain of command but gives her actual duties 110 percent. I love how she takes time to listen to the projections under her protection. But she doesn’t discriminate against projections that decided to take their independence and not fall under the Bureau’s care (Rogues).
The Mystery and Story
So, I loved the mystery, which was well planned out, with thoughtful red herrings and clues laid out to perfection. I enjoyed figuring out what was going on as much as getting to know Claire and her amazing family. Although, some of my favorite characters are the historical ghosts of Galveston, Texas. They were quirky and so thoroughly thought through. I adore it when an author throws a bit of history into a fictional story. The author did an amazing amount of research for this book. Everything flowed wonderfully and gave me plenty to think about. There is a hint of romance that works seamlessly into the story.

I was thoroughly entertained. My rating for Ghost Agents by Nita DeBorde is five stars, and I am anticipating the next installment in the series will be equally entertaining. Please check out the Ghost Agents by Nita DeBorde; I genuinely think you will enjoy the story.

About Nita DeBorde
Nita DeBorde is a published author and teacher from Houston, TX. Writing and teaching are her two major passions, though traveling and being dog-mom to a crazy Staffordshire-Boxer mix named Mabel are high on the list as well.
Nita has taught high school French for more than 20 years and absolutely loves her “day job” job (about 95% of the time). She loves to travel, and not surprisingly, France is her favorite destination, though her home state of Texas runs a close second.
