Plot Summary:
Jennifer Shannon uses her sharp eye to find rare garage-sale treasures to resell at the consignment store she owns with her business partner, Dani. When her friend dies trying to disprove rumors that a multi-million dollar home she is trying to sell has a deadly curse, Jennifer puts these intuitive skills to the test. Though a police investigation led by Detective Lynwood finds no evidence of foul play – even on the webcam footage from the night of the death – Jennifer has an ominous feeling that her friend has been murdered. Putting her keen instincts to work, Jennifer researches the history of deaths that all occurred in the room where her friend died, and examines a few key suspects with motives to murder. Jennifer’s husband, Jason, worries about her safety but supports her efforts as she continues to investigate. As Jennifer uncovers clues that bring her closer to the truth, she also puts her own life in danger.

My Thoughts:
Jennifer and the gang are back for another mystery. This one is totally by accident that Jennifer stumbles upon. The main reason is that Jennifer can’t believe that a friend so young went to sleep and never woke up the next day. The friend did it because she wanted to prove that the room wasn’t deadly, just to prove that it was.
This case is a stumper, as Jennifer believes that it’s murder, but no one else believes her. I was having a hard time figuring out who did it, but I had a few red herrings. The only person I can think of who could have done it is someone that I hoped didn’t do it.
Lori Loughlin as Jennifer Shannon just gets better with each installment of the series. I do like Dani as well. Jennifer’s family helping her solve the cases is all really cool. I love the new actress that they chose to play the daughter; she is much better than the first one.
I do have to say that her husband must make a lot of money so they can afford the house they live in because I don’t know how they could afford it with just her half of the second-hand store as income. Not that Rags to Riches doesn’t make a lot of money; it just doesn’t seem that busy.
