Plot Summary:

Abby Knight is an ex-attorney and proprietor of Bloomers, a quaint flower shop. Abby and Marco, a bar owner and former private investigator, discover the body of Jack Sutcliff, an unscrupulous grifter who attempted to crash Abby’s cousin’s wedding. Abby’s curiosity gets the better of her, and she sets out to conduct her own murder investigation and solve the case. With Marco’s help, Abby assembles an eclectic list of murder suspects — including her “black sheep” relatives, various wedding party members, and even the groom’s socialite mother. One of the murder suspects turns up dead from an apparent suicide. But when Abby suspects this death was a homicide — and closes in on the killer — she finds herself in a dangerous showdown.

My Thoughts:

The last Flower Shop Mystery movie is hilarious. My mom and I loved it, especially when everyone was picking on poor Brooke Shields, aka Abby Knight, for how tall she is. As a bridesmaid at her cousin’s wedding, they kept commenting on it, and she had to step down for pictures. I can tell that all the characters had a great time filming this movie. We got more of Sydney as well, which is fantastic.

Abby and Marco are still skirting around their feelings, but they seem ready to go on that next step. I grew to love this pair even though, at first, they seemed like an odd couple.

Another funny thing is how almost everyone who comes into the flower shop to help Abby solve this mystery brings her coffee. Abby is trying to figure out who did it because she’s not only curious but to help her family. However, many things get brought up over the course of Abby’s investigation into the death. Some things that some people wished would have stayed buried.

My mom got the killer right away in this one, but she didn’t get the motive. As I’m writing this review, I still can’t believe how weird the explanation was for the killer, but people don’t always do things like that for the right reasons.

I still love all the sets, and the characters are funny. Though poor Marco also got on the receiving end of the bad tall jokes surrounding Abby. However, if he wants to be a part of Abby’s life, that is what he has to deal with.
