Life took them on different paths. A death brings them home. And friendship will keep them together.

When Bria Landon and her estranged father each inherit fifty percent of a small-town cupcake shop, her dad brings in her worst enemy, an ex-boyfriend, to turn the place into a soulless franchise…or sell it. To save her aunt’s legacy, Bria needs the help of people who love the bakery as much as she does—her old friends who worked there fifteen years ago. But they have their own problems.

Juliet fears her marriage is about to crumble. She’s in panic mode, trying to prove she’s more than a trophy wife.

When Missy’s husband died, working at the cupcake shop saved her. Now, she might lose the job she loves.

Despite Nell’s insistence she’s happy being single, her meddling mom won’t stop playing matchmaker.

And life coach Selena is tired of fixing everyone else’s problems without a clue how to fix her own.

As the Berry Lake Cupcake Posse reunite to save their beloved cupcake shop, they’ll discover the power of friendship, the importance of love, and maybe even the recipe for happily ever after...

Cupcakes & Crumbs by Melissa McClone is about a group of women becoming friends after losing Elise Landon, who brought them all back together.

Will the Berry Lake Cupcake Posse find a way for them all to heal?

The Cupcake Posse

Bria Landon is one of the main characters in this story, and she’s the niece of the lady who owned the bakery that made this group of unlikely ladies friends. She is trying to do what is right for her aunt’s shop, especially since she wants to keep her aunt’s legacy alive. Bria has to work with her dad. Well, at least try to since her dad isn’t really a nice guy. Bria is a good person and has her own problems besides her dad trying to get money like always.

Cupcakes & Crumbs CRJuliet is a character that I like. She is a sweet character but has been put into a bad position with a loveless marriage. Juliet is trying to keep it together, but I feel bad for her since her husband isn’t a great person. Being in this marriage, though, has helped her get some good skills for getting a job.

Missy is the baker and manager at the bakery. She was married to her childhood sweetheart until he died, and now she is trying to save the bakery and is dealing with the loss of her husband but is doing a lot better now. She is an amazing person, and the poor girl is trying to do what is best for herself.

Nell Culpepper is a nurse that thought that she had a life plan, but it all changed. She has a mom into playing matchmaker for her daughter as she wanted her to be happy. Nell is a happy person that is the mother hen of this group.

Selena T is the life coach, and she does a great thing for her life. She is a great character, and I loved her chapters.

These characters are well developed with flaws and strengths that are believable. I enjoy spending time with these characters. Each one is great as they are getting to know each other at this stage of life. These girls are all so happy now, and I am glad.

Four Stars

Cupcakes & Crumbs by Melissa McClone is a new book and a series that is a wonderful read for fans of women’s friendship and a clean romance. These girls are all about being friends and helping each other out instead of dragging them down. Ms. McClone is a brilliant author, and I like her writing style as well. I am giving Cupcakes & Crumbs four stars, and of course, I am recommending it.
