This is a short story in the Magical Cures Mystery Series between books 7 and 8. The wedding is finally here! June Heal and Oscar Park's upcoming nuptials are sending the Dark Sider and Good Sider spiritual in a tail spin on this All Hallow's Eve wedding celebration. Aunt Helena wants June to have a Good Sider ceremony, while Aunt Eloise wants Oscar to have a Dark Sider ceremony. When one of the Aunts is poisoned, June and Oscar aren't sure they will have enough time to figure out who is sabotaging their wedding before Mr. Prince Charming walks her down the aisle?

A Charming Death by Tonya Kappes is about the day before Halloween/June and Oscar’s wedding.

It’s almost All Hallow’s Eve! Will June and Oscar get the wedding of their dreams?

June Heal and the townsfolk of Whispering Falls are all getting ready for All Hallow’s Eve and June and Oscar’s wedding. That’s right. We are so close to seeing these two married! I hope that everything turns out okay for everyone in the town. This whole entire book is a nice segway between the last book, A Charming Fatality, and the next book, A Charming Ghost. Ms. Kappes plans it perfectly to keep me wanting more. She sets up the next book well in this little novella.

A Charming Death CRJune has to deal with the aunts bickering while trying to plan for her wedding, but she is also helping the townsfolk with some of their problems. Well, that is if they want her to, as everyone knows she’s dealing with the wedding and having a few jitters.

I have to say that I loved this book as I thought it was adorable. Ms. Kappes, as I said above, put into motion the next book perfectly well while still giving June and Oscar a memorable day.

Five Stars

I am giving A Charming Death by Tonya Kappes five stars. I recommend this book to all the readers who picked this series up and haven’t found time to finish the series yet. I can’t believe that I am almost out of these wonderful books.

Oh well, onto the next one, so I see what Price Charming is up to! June Heal and the rest of the Whispering Cove people are excellent company to keep, especially when you don’t want to deal with the world around you.
