Penelope “Penny” Crowe

Penelope “Penny” Crowe used to tutor Camden in English in their last year of high school. She is a bestselling author now and is hard at work writing her next book. Or at least she is supposed to be, but got delayed thanks to her book tour. Penny is now in Halften to get her book written before her deadline. Everything was going according to plan until she learned who her next-door neighbor was. I like Penny because she proved everyone wrong about herself in high school. It also doesn’t help that she is a writer, and I love reading about author characters. Penny is an awesome character, and I think we would get along if we met in real life.

Camden Clarke

Camden Clarke needed a good grade to keep playing his sports. He is now the mayor of Halften and doesn’t think that he is worthy of Penny Crowe. I like how Ms. Louise shows that he grew into someone who is very different from his high school self in many ways. Camden is a good person who definitely doesn’t care just about himself but about the people of Halften. I like this persona that he has grown into.

The Romance

The romance between Penny and Camden is definitely sweet, and I like the two of them together. I think that they are good for each other. The banter between them was hilarious. Ms. Louise has definitely put a lot of cute scenes between the two of them in here, and I loved every single one of them. Camden and Penny are cute together, especially during their tutoring sessions.

Five Stars

My rating for Falling After All by Cece Louise is five stars. I do recommend this whole series as it is sweet and cute. Ms. Louise does end up making me laugh about some of the scenes between these two. The biggest thing that I like is seeing how each of the other couples ends up living their lives.

Ms. Louise does a great job transporting me to Wisconsin, no matter what season they are experiencing. My favorite one would have to be this one since it’s autumn time, and I also love autumn. That also kept me cool while I was there in the book, compared to the heat that I am experiencing right now in Texas.
