Bookworks and Book Haul Header

In this post, you will learn about our only local new bookstore Bookworks and Book Haul that I brought home for there in May.

Bookworks is my local bookstore

Last month I went to Whitefish to a bookstore that my mom found. I have got to say that I am in love with the bookstore. Bookworks is a wonderful little establishment that sells of course books, bookmarks, calendars, and some cute little games for kids.

When you first enter the bookstore it smells wonderful with a homey scent, fun music and lots of good books. They even sell books that are from local authors here in Flathead Valley, Montana. I love their young adult section. Even though it isn’t as big as say B&N and it doesn’t have to be. I bought three books there for myself.

Awesome Place

No matter what it was fun and the store is such an awesome place. I haven’t been to a bookstore in a long time. Bookworks is a good place to go to when you are in the area, they are located at 244 Spokane Avenue in Whitefish, Montana. The two ladies that run the store are really nice and will be there to help you out if you need them to.

So, if you are here visiting, skiing or seeing Glacier National Park look them up.  Seriously, this is a wonderful independent bookstore.

May Book Haul 2018 is my third set of new books for this year

Like I mentioned above I bought three books while I was at Bookworks this year. The three of them are Evermore by Alyson Noel, Lost in Time by Melissa de la Cruz, and Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw. I will be posting the books below here with links to the Goodreads, Amazon, and Book Depository. Or if you are local stop by Bookworks I am sure you will find a good book to read.

Don’t miss Evermore, the first book in Alyson Noël’s #1 New York Times bestselling The Immortals series. Enter an enchanting new world where true love never dies. . .

After a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people’s auras, hear their thoughts, and know someone’s entire life story by touching them. Going out of her way to avoid human contact and suppress her abilities, she has been branded a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste.

Damen is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. He’s the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head—wielding a magic so intense, it’s as though he can peer straight into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she’s left with more questions than answers. And she has no idea just who he really is—or what he is. The only thing she knows to be true is that she’s falling deeply and helplessly in love with him.

Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic meets the Salem Witch trials in this haunting story about three sisters on a quest for revenge—and how love may be the only thing powerful enough to stop them.

Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow…

Where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town.

Now, for a brief time each summer, the sisters return, stealing the bodies of three weak-hearted girls so that they may seek their revenge, luring boys into the harbor and pulling them under.

Like many locals, seventeen-year-old Penny Talbot has accepted the fate of the town. But this year, on the eve of the sisters’ return, a boy named Bo Carter arrives; unaware of the danger he has just stumbled into.

Mistrust and lies spread quickly through the salty, rain-soaked streets. The townspeople turn against one another. Penny and Bo suspect each other of hiding secrets. And death comes swiftly to those who cannot resist the call of the sisters.

But only Penny sees what others cannot. And she will be forced to choose: save Bo, or save herself.
