Schuyler Van Alen wants an explanation for the mysterious deaths of young vampires. With her best friend, Oliver, Schuyler travels to Italy in the hope of finding the one man who can help - her grandfather. Meanwhile, back in New York, preparations are feverishly underway for the Four Hundred Ball, an exclusive gala hosted by the city's wealthy, powerful, and unhuman - a true Blue Blood affair.
But it's at the after-party, a masquerade ball thrown by the cunning Mimi Force, that the real danger lurks. Hidden behind the masks is a revelation that will forever change the course of a young vampire's destiny.
Rich with glamour, attitude, and vampire lore, this second installment in the Blue Bloods saga will leave readers thirsting for more.

Everything not going so well for Schuyler.

In Masquerade by Melissa de la Cruz is that Schuyler finds her grandpa and all seems well for her until her unknown uncle Charles Force decides that he wants custody of her. Apparently, her grandpa doesn’t exist and hasn’t since the 1800s. That is a stinker for Schuyler and her grandpa as they want to be together. This book is just full of twists and turns.

Some of the characters I feel bad for:

I feel sorry for Bliss, Dylan, Kingsley and must importantly Bliss’s younger half-sister Jordan. That poor young girl is a Blue Blood but her mom just makes her feel worthless compared to Bliss. I don’t know how that happened but it just did. Poor Jordan. I just feel though that Bliss and Dylan are meant for each other. However something always happens to them. For like every single time they have met each other in these books something has happened for Bliss to get away from him.

Five Stars

Which is just plain sad. Anyways this book is awesome and I am giving it five stars because it kept me entertained and interested in it whenever I put the book down. But yes awesome book. As you all know from my last review of Blue Bloods is that I love this series so far!!!! I mean it’s an awesome series that I have been collecting books for and never reading them.

This Review was previously posted on my blogspot site which is closed.
