Plot Summary:

Amy can’t believe her colleague, a Mark Twain scholar, poisoned a professor to get an early draft of Huck Finn. Determined to prove his innocence, Amy enlists help from Travis, whose predecessor is the cop who convicted her friend. Now the retired officer is going to great lengths to make sure his arrest stands. But Amy’s not the only one who wants the conviction overturned. A woman writing a book about the case links it to another poisoned professor who accused a student of plagiarism. Both murders certainly bring a new meaning to the saying “publish or perish.”

Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha are back again in their new movie, An Education in Murder, and they did an amazing job. These two are great in these roles, and their flirty banter throughout the movie is so adorable. I love that even though Jill was pregnant while filming that they easily covered up her bump.

The mystery for this movie is fantastic as it kept me engaged, trying to figure out who did it. I had a feeling some of the red herrings were too easy to accuse of this crime. Knowing who did the crime took me a bit to figure out, but once I did, I wasn’t backing down until there was proof of another person doing it.

I like this movie because they used Steve Bacic, and I have missed seeing him in films on this channel. Steve did a great job with the flashback scenes that they had him do and the parts he is in jail as well.

Once again, I love all the sets that they used throughout this film, as it is fantastic. I liked how they use different ones this time than the same old ones. The last thing that I like is how Amy’s classes in the movie somehow help her realize who did the crime or the actual crime like in this case.
