My Rating:
My Thoughts:
This movie is my favorite of the Emma Fielding movies. My parents and I had no clue who did it, and we fell for the red herring. It was entertaining watching this one and trying to figure out who did it.
Emma is going to start her mandatory vacation time after a dig, but her friend Adele asks for her help. Adele needs Emma to take a look at a castle that her employer is planning to buy. Of course, Emma agrees since it sounds interesting and intriguing about what Professor Webster won’t show to anyone until the time is right. Adele mentions about the curse that is on the Chandler family.
I love Emma’s sidekicks/grad students. Adam DiMarco and Tess Adkins are great in these roles. They have been hanging out with Professor Fielding a lot and don’t believe in curses.
The mystery for this film is about, of course, who killed Professor Webster and about the so-called “witch” room that Professor Webster found. It’s a pretty weird mystery and one that I loved trying to solve with them.
The setting is beautiful; I love the castle. As in the first movie, the acting is superb. Don’t fall for the red herrings when you see this movie.
