Dark forces are at work at the House of Night and Zoey Redbird’s adventures at the school take a mysterious turn. Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected and rare situation of having three boyfriends. Mix a little bloodlust into the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster. Just when it seems things couldn’t get any tougher, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres. But, as Zoey and her friends so often find out, how things appear rarely affects the truth…

Just a filler book.

To me I feel like Chosen by PC and Kristin Cast, and Betrayed by PC and Kristin Cast that I am now thinking about it, are just filler books. Made to keep their fans thinking about the book series.

Zoey thinking bad things about herself.

This one is mostly just Zoey talking about how much of a “slut and hoe bag” she is turning into. If you look up the definition of those two words you will know that she isn’t. I didn’t like the part where she Imprinted with someone else besides Heath. I mean even Imprinting with Heath is just messed up to me. If you want to get rid of him don’t suck his blood. I just don’t get with why she would even suck on anyone’s blood just quite yet.

Through the whole thing that the only one that does end up liking Zoey throughout the book is someone that she doesn’t even like. I do think though that her fledging vampyre boyfriend could have took something a little bit better but then again I always thought that maybe Erik was just too good to be true for Zoey and I was right. Then again so far I have been right for some things that have been happening in the series. Throughout the whole book though there is only one thing that I like about it is that something good happens to Stevie Rae which I love.
