Life sucks when your friends are pissed at you. Just ask Zoey Redbird – she's become an expert on suckiness. In one week she has gone from having three boyfriends to having none, and from having a close group of friends who trusted and supported her, to being an outcast. Speaking of friends, the only two Zoey has left are undead and unMarked. And Neferet has declared war on humans, which Zoey knows in her heart is wrong. But will anyone listen to her? Zoey's adventures at vampyre finishing school take a wild and dangerous turn as loyalties are tested, shocking true intentions come to light, and an ancient evil is awakened in PC and Kristin Cast's spellbinding fourth House of Night novel. (Recommended for readers age 13 and older)

Anymore filler books?

Okay so here is Untamed by PC and Kristin Cast, the fourth book, in the House of Night book series. The last two books in my mind were just like little filler books to keep the plot of the whole series going through our heads as we waited to see what Zoey and her group of friends well do. I only say that about Betrayed and Chosen are fillers because we don’t really see all that much going on. I mean yeah we find out that Zoey is a slut, even though that is the wrong use of the word, for having three boyfriends and for keeping Stevie Rae’s return from the dead a secret from her “nerd herd” as Aphrodite calls Zoey’s group of friends. We are able to see Neferet grow more and more into her role as the villain of the story.

Some editorial problems

In Untamed by PC and Kristin Cast we can clearly see some spelling errors but I am quite glad to see that it is still going. For some reason I think that this book would have done well if the Casts made some of the books into one big one for the third former year at the House and so forth but I guess they didn’t think about that.

Different books

Then again I guess writing about being a vampyre fledgling is different than say writing about a young wizard going to Hogwarts every year and has to deal with whatever is thrown at him from Voldemort. Yes I realized that I made a Harry Potter reference but it was the only one I can think of. This book in my mind is awesome and I don’t wanna give a whole lot of it away though. I am hoping that what I have wrote I am not spoiling anything. This book is a good one and one that made me rethink the series again. Yeah I already read most of them but I don’t remember much about them.

My rating

Though this book was originally a zero because of it being so slow in the beginning. As I got farther in the book gradually got a higher rating. I mean Zoey isn’t saying bad stuff about Catholicism anymore thanks to a certain group of nuns and that is all I am willing to tell you. I hope this review has helped you with deciding on to read this book and if so then I am glad.

This Review was previously posted on my blogspot site which I will be closing soon.
